Burned Bridges Popcorn (Spicy Hot Sauce and Cajun Seasoning)
Our better off single series of recipes, the ones you make just for yourself because you want to, continues today with our Burned Bridges popcorn. If you're picturing fiery heat, you'd be right because this one is for our chili heads. A combination of our fluffy kernels, your favorite hot sauce and our spicy Cajun seasoning.
We feel that if you're done crossing a particular bridge, go ahead and set it on fire. A little petty? Maybe, but we're feeling anti-Valentine sentiments and having some feelings. Was your ex too bland? Do you love spice but they wanted everything mild? All the more reason to go to level 10 with this.
Pop a batch of our black kernels (they pop up white), coat them in hot sauce and bake for a few to set the crunch. You can go with the sweet heat of tabasco or the hotter notes of sriracha. Or maybe you have a bottle of ghost pepper sauce stashed away for a time you want to indulge your love of heat. This popcorn is yours and you can get as hot with it as you want to. We topped it off with the salty, flavorful heat of our spicy Cajun seasoning for a delicious finish.
What's that? Oh, yeah, it's the sound of nobody complaining the dish is too spicy. And don't forget to treat your single friends to our Better off Single gift pack.

Burned bridges popcorn is a recipe for freshly popped corn tossed with hot sauce and baked until crunchy. Then sprinkled with our spicy Cajun popcorn seasoning for a fiery treat.

Ingredients
3 Tablespoons canola oil
⅓ Cup Dell Cove Better Off Single popcorn kernels
¼ Teaspoon salt
3 Tablespoons hot sauce
Dell Cove Spicy Cajun popcorn seasoning
Directions
Add the canola oil and 2 to 3 of the Better Off Single kernels to a large pot with a lid. Heat on high until the kernels pop. That will let you know that your oil is hot enough.
Add the remaining kernels and the salt. Cover, continue cooking on high, shaking the pot often, until the popping stops. Remove the popcorn to a large bowl.
Pre-heat the oven to 300 degrees F.
Toss the popcorn with the hot sauce sauce and spread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes and allow to cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with the spicy Cajun seasoning and serve.
