French Provencal Herb Blend (Herbes de Provence)
If you grill fish and vegetables, our French Provencal Herb Blend will be your go-to seasoning. In our own kitchen, this complex herb mix is the secret behind David's mouth-watering roasted chicken. We use only organic spices when we blend our recipe - and include savory herbs such as thyme, basil and cracked fennel, with a twist of lavender.
Also known as Provencal herbs or Herbes de Provence, this classic culinary staple takes its name from Provence in southern France, where herbs grow in abundance. We love to use a teaspoon or two of this spice mix rubbed on the outside of round balls of goat cheese to serve as an appetizer - it's amazing - or stir a couple tablespoons into a cup of extra virgin olive oil for an outstanding olive oil bread dip.
