Our Green Chile and Lime spiced salt was created after we came back from a trip to Taos, New Mexico. The addictive heat of the chilis, the tang of fresh lime, all infused into one of our favorite salts. The result: oh-so-flavorful and a perfect spicy margarita salt. If you like flavored cocktail salts on your drink rim, this is the drink garnish for you.
Cooking tip: Try this zesty seasoning sprinkled over fresh watermelon or mango, or blend it with some butter and melt it on your grilled corn.
The 3 oz tin - which is smaller in diameter than a standard margarita glass - has enough salt to rim at least 50 rocks or margarita glasses, depending on the size of the glass, the thickness of the rim and how much salt you use. Suggested serving size: 1/4 teaspoon per glass.
Please note: These are not rimming tins, as they are smaller than the diameter of a standard margarita glass. But we give you instructions on how to use the salts, along with a favorite margarita recipe.
The 12 oz bulk bag is resealable, and hold enough salt to rim 200 standard margarita glasses. Serving size: 1/4 teaspoon. Comes with one of our favorite margarita recipes.
