Toast the holidays, and bring a colorful sparkle to your martini glasses or champagne flutes, with our Forest Green cocktail rim sugar. This is a deep, dramatic green - and was inspired by a pine tree, whose needles were peaking out through a fresh blanket of snow a few winters back. We use this cocktail sugar when we make batches of berry- or plum-flavored cocktails, because the colors pair beautifully.
VERY IMPORTANT: USE A THIN GREEN SUGAR RIM! Our Forest Green rim sugar is HIGHLY color saturated, in order to get the vibrant tone. Because of this, if you use more than the suggest serving size of 1/8 teaspoon per glass, there may be some temporary coloring of your mouth. You can remove the coloring by eating food and/or brushing your teeth.
The 2.5 oz tin - will rim up to 50 standard martini glasses or champagne flutes, depending on the size of the glass and how much sugar you use.
The 10 oz bulk bag will rim up to 200 standard martini glasses or champagne flutes. The 20 oz bulk bag will rim up to 400 standard glasses.
HOW TO USE: We include directions with each order. All you need is a plate; a bowl; and something to moisten the rim of your glass. (We recommend using simple syrup. Do not use water only - it will dissolve your sugar.) For step-by-step directions with photos, see our tutorial here.
TIN SIZE: About 3" x 1". The tins are big enough to dip a champagne flute into, but smaller than a standard martini glass. This is not a martini rimming container. Why? Because with products sold in a martini rimming tin, you end up wasting half of it when the sugar gets gloppy. (And we hate wasting this stuff!)
SHELF LIFE: Two years from purchase.
