Vintage Clarence china teacup and saucer - Alaska flag pattern
This vintage tea cup and saucer set was made in England by the Clarence China company in the 1950s. It was part of a limited collection the company did on Americana imagery. This classic fine bone china teacup set is their Alaska Flag pattern, and features a detailed painting of the Alaska state flag, with eight gold stars that form the Big Dipper and Polaris, on a dark blue field.
This footed tea cup set is also decorated with a delicate vine of blue and light purple flowers, with gold accents. The pattern is discontinued, so it's tough to find.
The 22K gold pattern is beautiful throughout the cup and saucer design. There are no signs of wear on the 22K gold edging on the rims, foot, or handle of the cup and saucer. A unique gift idea for any tea loving Mother, Grandma, sister, bride or friend.
