Where the Fun Food is Found
We are t-minus one week until Valentine’s Day, so we’re bringing you another fresh, pink, heart-inspired drink recipe. This blushing paloma (think: grapefruit and tequila - or lime juice if you’re passing on the alcohol!) featuring a sweet candy cocktail rim sugar is the perfect mix of sweet and sour to add a little extra pucker to your celebrations.
4 oz white tequila
1/2 cup pink grapefruit juice and 1/2 cup grapefruit soda (such as Jarritos or Squirt)
1 lime, cut in half
White sanding sugar and mini candy heart sprinkles for garnish (equal parts each)
Rim two chilled cocktail glasses with the sugar and candy hearts mixture and fill glasses with ice. Add 2 oz of tequila into each glass. Top off with juice/soda mix. Squeeze one lime half into each glass. Stir and serve. Makes 2 drinks.
