David and Patricia Beets - Owners, Makers, Wearers of Many Hats
David, a former engineering CAD-designer, is devoted to cooking with fire and runs the shop full-time. Patricia, a former bartender with family farm roots, works as a journalist by day and loves playing with food at night.

I FEEL PASSIONATE ABOUT:
- David: "Classic American-made cars. 1953 to 1974, when it was still possible to get a Corvette with a big block. A 1967 big block Corvette, black on black on black, is my all-time favorite. And don't get me started on Impalas."
- Patricia: "Cooking, farming and making up bedtime stories to tell our grand-daughters. My family has farmed since at least the U.S. Civil War. There's something about being in a field, surrounded by plants, that is very soothing."
